The Innovation and Education Commitee was established to explore ways in which the Strategic Partnership can add value to the innovation agenda in the province through education and training, research and development, technology transfer and other means.

The Committee has three representatives from each partner. This Committee will review research material, consult with key stakeholders and report back to the Strategic Partnership Council with recommendations about how to advance this project through 2011. The Strategic Partnership Secretariat will provide research and other support to the Innovation Committee.

Taking into account the recommendations of the Innovation Committee, the SPC will then determine the Goal and Objectives for the Innovation project for the rest of 2009, 2010 and 2011.

The business representatives on the committee are Ron Taylor, NATI; Bob Cadigan of NOIA; and Barry Dawe of Norther Radar Systems.
